How we plan to work for the summer of 2020
“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo.
“So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” J.R.R. Tolkien, Lord of the Rings
The biggest challenge for us throughout he Corona crisis has been how to adapt our work in ways that enable us to continue. Our usual methods of working are very down to earth, invite a physical closeness in community, the celebration of the senses, and the freedom to connect closely with our partners, our friends, and with both the human and the natural worlds. As a virus, Covid-19 seizes on the channels of human breath and human connection and exploits them to spread its deadly pandemic. Our challenge therefore is, for the moment, how to continue to share our work in ways which support our communities through the epidemic and inspire us to look beyond to the time beyond this time without using tools that are no longer safe until the epidemic is over.
BIn the last few months, we have found it’s been possible to pass on our work by stepping into the virtual world of Zooms and phone calls . and over the phone and that has seemed useful. As the government begins to decide that it is time to relax some of the restrictions of the lockdown, we think we can introduce more ways of working in our teaching.
Here is what we are proprosing right now:
Couples work: We’ll continue to offer online consultations to couples. Given the present government restrictions and guidelines we feel it is now also possible to offer non-residential sessions to a single couple in our Tantra space.
Gateway workshops: We really want to go on with these. So far, we’ve experimented with Zoom meetings for both Beltane and Summer Solstice. For Lammas we are hoping to be able to be at Wild Ways but following government guidelines about social distancing, and whatever systems we have to put in place for meals and overnight stay. We’re talking to Wild Ways at the moment about how we might do this. Please get in touch with us and we can tell you more as our plans unfold!
Individual work: We’ll continue to offer individual consultations online, and on the phone. Following the government guidelines, we believe it is now also possible now to offer some individual work here in our Tantra space.
We’d love to hear how this all feels to you, and anything else you might like from us at this time.

Welcome to Celtic Tantra ! What’s it all about??
“Oh what a catastrophe, what a maiming of love when it was made a personal, merely personal, feeling, taken away from the rising and the setting of the sun, and cut off from the magic connection of the solstice and equinox! This is what is the matter with us. We are bleeding at the roots, because we are cut off from the earth and the sun and stars, and love is a grinning mockery, because, poor blossom, we plucked it from its stem on the tree of life, and expected it to keep on blooming in our civilised vase on the table.”
