Tantra teaches us that the whole body is the temple of the spirit. In
Tantra we work to heal the shame we have been conditioned to feel about
our bodies, and to reconnect with our innocence. We seek to be
shame-free, not shameless. In our introductory workships, we approach
nakedness very gently and respectfully, encouraging participants to
choose what feels right for them, and to respect their own boundaries,
as well as those of others.
For intimate work, participants normally wear a lungi or sarong, and we
create "nests" to work in. The "giver" usually wears a lungi, and it is
the choice of the "receiver" whether to be fully naked or to use the
lungi as a drape. |
