We are once again offering our Winter Solstice workshop at Nab Cottage December 13 to 15.  

Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year, a time for inner journeys and deep dreaming. In this group, we gather in the winter cave, warming ourselves at our inner fires, exploring the magic of the dark.

The Winter Solstice rejoices in the discovery of light within darkness, the birth of the magical child of light on the darkest night of the year. Gifts, twinkling lights, wild dance and play – all the things that appeal to the child in us – belong to the Solstice. Outside, there is cold and dark. Inside, there is community and connectedness, the joy and passion of the heart, the light that burns within all of us.
Nab Cottage is a perfect place to celebrate this festival of light, an evocative venue surrounded by gorgeous mountain scenery. Fully residential, including all meals.

Cost: £215 early booking by Dec 1, later booking £235.
Non-residential places are available at £130 early booking, £150 later.

Rooms are mainly ensuite, a few single rooms are available for a surcharge. Single rooms must be pre-booked.

* Please note that his will be our very last Winter Solstice workshop.  

Tim at Nab Cottage has let us know that he is wanting to close down the venue in the autumn, and after several years of wonderful Solstices in that magical place, we ourselves don’t feel any desire to try and re-stage it elsewhere.   It just wouldn’t be the same without the wintry Lake District landscape, the deep holding of Nab Cottage and Tim’s loving presence and support.
