Winter Solstice: A Celebration of Light
Worthybridge Barn, near Tiverton, Devon
December 12 to 14, 2025
Worthybridge Barn near Tiverton
We are happy to announce that a home has been offered for our Winter Solstice workshop, at the beautiful Worthybridge Barn near Tiverton. We have successfully run our Beltane workshops here for 3 years now, so we are quite excited to see what a winter workshop can be like here. And so pleased to be able to offer this lovely celebration once again.
Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year, a time for inner journeys and deep dreaming. In this group, we gather in the winter cave, warming ourselves at our inner fires, exploring the magic of the dark.
The Winter Solstice rejoices in the discovery of light within darkness, the birth of the magical child of light on the darkest night of the year. Gifts, twinkling lights, wild dance and play – all the things that appeal to the child in us – belong to the Solstice. Outside, there is cold and dark. Inside, there is community and connectedness, the joy and passion of the heart, the light that burns within all of us.
Worthybridge is a private woodland in the wild country outside of Tiverton, Devon, perched on the edge of a wooded hill, overlooking a wide river, surrounded by rounded hills and ancient woodlands. There is a wonderful converted barn space as well as a gorgeous 16 foot circular yurt (heated by its own wood burner). A place to connect with the winter wisdom of the natural world — as well as a cosy space to explore our joyous human connection.
As this is a winter workshop spaces will be strictly limited so that there is both room for people to sleep indoors and for us to work and eat together in the open barn space. Comfortable indoor sleeping spaces are available. There is also space for camper vans.
Please book early to avoid disappointment!
