Imbolc is an invitation to feel what is stirring in the slowly awakening earth, and in ourselves, as we rest in our winter sleep. We are still deep in the cave, and what we feel may not be conscious or known, and that makes it all the more exciting.   What has past is transforming, the new is emerging.   Traditionally it is the time when we can tune into the idea of Bridgit’s fire, the spark of inspiration that is the beginning of new life in the new year to come. We will be opening our bodies and our spirits to that spark, that comes from without and sparks the fire within us. A time of readiness, and receptivity, of heart opening and body awakening — and of gentle nourishing touch.
Wildways is a beautiful place to experience this, with its hosts of snowdrops, beautiful old trees, and hidden sacred places.
